Dynamic Content for the Win

User Group Meeting Mar 12 @ 11 am

Join other UW-Madison Eloqua users Thursday, March 12 for a demonstration of Dynamic Content: the ability to customize your Email content with text, images, or HTML within emails based on data you have on your recipients and their behaviors, such as geography, interests or past content engagement.

This goes beyond a “Dear First Name” field merge to customize entire sections of an email message. With Dynamic Content, you can create one email asset that contains various sections of content depending on information you have on the reader. Does the reader consistently click on links related to photography, for example? You can set your email asset to show a photography-related image and photography-related course information, while a different reader who had shown interest (via past behavior) in a painting course could get the same email structure but with content sections that feature painting.

The Marketing Automation team used Dynamic Content in our 2026 New Year Email Greeting to deliver a personalized response email message with a specific image represented by the link they clicked in the original email message, among other Eloqua “magic.” Check out how the 25/26 New Year Email greeting played out in this series of landing pages.

For this live Eloqua User Group meeting (via Zoom), we’ll demonstrate how we used Dynamic Content in our 2026 Email Greeting, outline how to implement this in your email communications, and we will also take open questions from users on anything Eloqua-related.
