Confirmed: Eloqua’s Navigation to Change Starting May 16

As we announced in the last Marketing Automation newsletter, a new single navigation style, accessible from the bottom of the browser interface, will replace the current top left “hamburger” menu and the top right drop down menu navigation. In other words, the top left and top right navigation menus will be replaced with a single navigation bar, located at the bottom of the Eloqua interface (the bottom of your browser window).

Oracle has instituted this new approach to improve load time, reduce confusion, increase processing speed and unify the user interface.  Here’s a screencast from our Oracle support representative demonstrating how it is currently functioning on his administrative site:

Click the double arrow icon in the video controls to view at a larger size (recommended). The UW–Madison instance view of this new navigation will replace this administrative view as soon as it becomes available.

While we do not anticipate this being a challenging change for most, please do let us know if you experience any issues when this new navigation arrives in our campus Eloqua instance on May 16.
