While this certainly helps users get up to speed quickly, Segments are a longer story! They hold the key to Eloqua’s true power. Understanding how to use Segments more fully can be a powerful upgrade to your communications strategy. We’ll streeeetch your Segment skills in a March 13 Advanced Learning webinar.
Did you know you can use a Segment to filter “in” Contacts based on criteria like whether or not they receive a particular email, whether they open it, or even if they don’t? You can pull a contact into a Segment if they registered for a conference via an Eloqua Form, whether or not they visited an Eloqua Landing Page, and much more. And creating Segments with just one main target audience, and then reusing them can help you understand your audience better by reporting on the performance and behavior of that target audience.
Segments are so much more than just a list of contacts, and so much more than just for sending a campaign. In our next Advanced Training Webinar, we’ll dive deep into Segments, viewing them from “up high” to see them more strategically, using them as a mini report to check the numbers of email openers or clickers, for example, and then to easily be able to reach them with custom messaging that elicits a (better) response. It’s sure to take your Eloqua skills to new heights.
